Kidepo Valley National Park, located in the remote northeastern corner of Uganda bordering both Southern Sudan and Kenya, is highly rated as one of Africa's top parks due to its spectacular and untouched wilderness. It is home to large herds of buffaloes and elephants along with an abundance of other wildlife. Unfortunately, its far-flung location makes it difficult for many visitors to experience this remarkable area. But there is a flying option that can get you there in about an hour from Entebbe/Kajjansi!

Day 1: Entebbe/Kajjansi - Kidepo Valley National Park with an evening Game Drive
After you've had breakfast, your driver will pick you up at 7AM and take you to Kajjansi airstrip or Entebbe International Airport for your flight to Kidepo. Take in the breathtaking sights of the Kidepo wilderness from the sky before landing at Apoka. Our driver will be waiting for you at the airfield to take you to your accommodation. Take a refreshment and marvel at the vastness of the wilderness from the comfort of your lodge. After lunch, embark on an evening game drive into Narus Valley, known for its abundance of animals like Elephants, Buffaloes, Jackson's Hartebeests, and antelope species. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Game drive and the afternoon Cultural Experience
Get up early for breakfast and start your game drive into the park. Keep an eye out for big cats such as Lions, Jackals, Hyenas, Leopards and Cheetahs. You'll also see plenty of other animals and birds, especially Ostriches. Next, you can check out Kanangorok Hot Springs before heading back to the lodge for some rest, meals and relaxation. In the afternoon, experience the Karamajong culture with a tour of their homesteads. Finally, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Whole day Hiking Adventure
After breakfast, set out for a new journey into the park - hike up the Morungole Mountains and meet the remarkable Ik people. Feast your eyes with gorgeous views of the wilderness, while being immersed in their interesting customs and culture. Come back to the lodge for dinner, rest for the night and prepare for further exploring ahead!

Day 4: Flight back to Entebbe/ Kajjansi
After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airfield for your trip to Entebbe. Another of our drivers shall be at the airport to receive you and transfer you to your hotel/residence.
